I’ve been surprised over the past 5 weeks as I’ve needed to describe 3 times one of the older commands in AutoCAD: WBLOCK.

WBLOCK allows users to create an AutoCAD block, but instead of it only existing inside of the current AutoCAD Drawing it exports its data out to a separate AutoCAD drawing.  As a result it’s a great way to export out your AutoCAD blocks individually to create an external block library or share drawings on a piece by piece bases with others.
