Course Description

Prerequisites: Familiarity with Windows based computer operating system & an understanding of civil engineering terminology is an asset.  It is preferred that students have completed the Autodesk Civil 3D – Fundamentals course.

Expectations: Using the functionality of Autodesk Storm & Sanitary Analysis features, students learn to analyze storm & sanitary system designs for constructability & meeting code requirements.

  • Computing runoff using various hydrology methods, including Rational & SCS TR-55
  • Designing & analyzing pipe systems & ponds
  • Planning storm water design systems using SSA & Civil 3D
  • Planning sanitary sewer design systems using SSA & Civil 3D
