Course Description

Prerequisites: Familiarity with Windows based computer operating system, an understanding of civil engineering terminology, & experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D are all assets for this course.

Expectations: Using the interactive, dynamic functionality of AutoCAD Civil 3D, civil engineers & surveyors are enabled to import & utilize GIS data within their civil engineering & survey drawings.  Students will be able to transfer data to & from GIS database formats, add & extract feature attributes to drawing objects & create intelligent data to be used in the workflows.
