Important Bluebeam Fix (6/30/25)
Official Release from Bluebeam:
We recently experienced a technical issue that caused users to have trouble accessing Bluebeam.com domains. The problem has been fixed, but it may take a little while for the fix to fully take effect everywhere due to how internet systems store temporary information.
Thank you for your patience as everything updates. Many users have full service now and most users should see a return to normal shortly. If you’re still having trouble, try restarting your device or clearing your browser’s cache.
A recent issue involving a DNS registration error for the domain resulted in partial outages affecting domain resolution for some users. The root cause has been identified and corrected; however, due to caching mechanisms across various DNS providers, it may take some time for all cached records to be fully updated and for service to be restored universally.
We appreciate your patience as the global DNS system clears outdated records. Normal service is expected to resume for all users as caches refresh in accordance with their respective TTL (Time-to-Live) settings. If you continue to experience issues, please consider clearing your local DNS cache or contacting your provider for further assistance.
Clear Local DNS Cache
Steps for Windows:
- Open Command Prompt as administrator: Search for “Command Prompt” in the Start menu, right-click it, and select “Run as administrator”.
- Execute the command: Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.
- Confirmation: You should see a message confirming that the DNS Resolver Cache was successfully flushed.
Steps for macOS:
- Open Terminal: Use Spotlight Search (Command + Space bar) and type “Terminal”.
- Enter the command: Type sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder and press Enter.
- Password: You may be prompted for your administrator password.
- Verification: There won’t be a confirmation message, but you can try reconnecting to the domain you were having issues with.
To stay up to date with this and any other potential Bluebeam outage, be sure to keep an eye on Bluebeam’s Status Page.
