With this enhancement, we have expanded the use of Design Collaboration to make it more accessible for companies using IFC file formatted supported tools and workflows; to facilitate interoperability in the architecture, engineering and construction industry.
You will be able to share, consume packages, and generate aggregated views for IFC files:
Note: Creating a publish schedule is only available for Cloud Workshared Revit models, not for models uploaded directly to Document Management. The publish schedule is only supported for models contained up to the first subfolder in Project Files. For example, (BIM 360://Project Files/TeamFolder). Files from a deeper subfolder are not available for the publish shedule.
Users who have access to BIM360 Design and are assigned to a Project who wish to use Collaboration for Civil 3D will need to have the service entitlement assigned to them by the Contract Manager/Administrator or Software Coordinator/Secondary Admin. It is unassigned by default.

On August 21, 2019 the new Autodesk BIM 360 Layout app was released and is now available for download on the Google Play Store. The Layout app is included in the BIM 360 Coordinate package at no additional cost and is available on Android devices only. Unlike the existing iPad Layout app (which will remain available) that only synchronizes with classic BIM 360 Glue, the new Android Layout app connects to the BIM 360 Next Gen platform by hosting project models and point details via the Document Management module.
