Trimble SiteVision 2.00 Released - New Improvements

Trimble SiteVision  software version 2.00 has just been released and is now available in the Google Play Store and includes many great new enhancements and bug fixes making SiteVision an even better value than before with extended workflows.

New Features

Create New Model on Device

Users can now create a new empty model from the device. This is particularly useful when the user wants to do quick data collection, and use the SiteVision apps when here isn’t existing data in the current area to work with.

Using Surface Snapshots in Civil 3D

At one time or another you may have opened a Civil 3D drawing sent to you and noticed, while viewing details of a surface in the Prospector tab of the Toolspace, what looks like a little camera icon next to the Definition section.  What does that little icon mean?

That icon stands for a surface snapshot, and in this article, I hope to help explain what a surface snapshot is and how it is used.

According to the Autodesk Civil 3D Help file:

How to easily keep track of revisions, comments and your data.

Have you ever wanted to keep track of model versions / revisions or add comments to your model project?

You can with Autodesk BIM 360 Team, here is a short video showing you how its done, fast and simple.
